On Thursday 21st April, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission ended her second official visit to Russia.
Whilst on her trip, the AUC Chairperson participated in discussions with Mr. Sergey Lavrov (the Russian Federation Minister of Foreign Affairs), and Mrs. Valentina Matvienko (the Chairperson of the Council of the Federation). All three of them agreed to strengthen the bond between Africa and the Russian Federation.
The issues discussed ranged from sustainable development, to trade and investments, the training of Africa’s youth, and peace and security.
