Emmanuel de Merode is running the Virgin Money London Marathon just three years after he nearly lost his life in Virunga National Park. Now he is running to raise funds for an endowment for the park rangers and their families who have lost their lives in service to the park, and we are asking for your help. The generous funder Paul Leander from the World We Want Foundation, is matching every dollar donated.
You can also keep track of Emmanuel’s race on Sunday 23rd April by downloading the Virgin Money London Marathon app, which has a map of the route and through which you can track his progress using his running number, 25180.
